Helpful information

  • After order confirmation, it is not possible to change the shipping address provided by the customer.
  • Payment is only acquired after order processing.
  • If availability issues arise with the plants you selected in your order, you will be contacted directly to discuss the possibility of replacements with similar varieties in terms of shape or color.
  • Order processing times are distinct from delivery times, displayed during checkout, and must be added together.

Shipping destinations

  • We ship within Italian territory, including islands.
  • We ship to the following European Union countries: Austria, Belgium, Croatia, Denmark, Finland, France, Germany, Greece, Ireland, Luxembourg, Netherlands, Poland, Portugal, Czech Republic, Romania, Slovakia, Spain, Sweden, Hungary.

Prioritizing plant health: our shipping schedule

  • Italy: we only ship on mondays, tuesdays, and wednesdays.
  • European Union countries: we exclusively ship on mondays.
These shipping timelines, planned at the beginning of each week, ensure plant health by minimizing transit time and time spent inside packaging.

Seasonal shipping

Our shipments follow the rhythm of the seasons and the specific needs of each plant:
  • shipments of Pelargoniums occur exclusively during spring;
  • Alstroemerias, Aspidistras, Chrysanthemums, and Ivies can be shipped year-round;
  • Bletilla shipments will not be available during the summer.
During periods of intense heat or frost, shipments may experience interruptions or delays to ensure plant health.
Please understand that our priority is to ensure that the plants you receive are in excellent condition to grow and thrive in your environment.

Order processing times

All orders are processed within 2-3 business days from the receipt of the order confirmation email. Weekends and holidays are excluded. Orders received after 5:00 PM will be processed the next business day. When we ship the order, you will receive an automatic notification.
Please note that:
  • processing times also depend on plant availability, season, and exhibitions;
  • during periods of high volume, processing time may take more than 3 business days;
  • we will make every effort to ship the merchandise as quickly as possible.

Order tracking

  • Once the order is shipped, you will receive a notification (via email or SMS) containing a tracking number that you can use to monitor the shipment's status.
  • Tracking information is provided exclusively by the courier (or carrier) and is available within 48 hours.

Shipping methods

  • We deliver your order to the address you provided during registration or checkout. Unfortunately, we don't offer the option to schedule a specific delivery date or time.
  • If no one is available to receive the package at the time of delivery, the courier will return it to the warehouse. In this case, you will be responsible for the additional shipping and storage costs.
  • The courier does not make deliveries under unusual circumstances (incomplete data, incorrect address, deliveries to floors, within private properties, to destinations it cannot reach with its vehicle).
  • We use reliable national and international couriers to ensure that plants arrive in optimal condition. Available shipping methods (standard or express) depend on the customer's location.

Shipping restrictions

  • We do not ship to post office boxes.
  • We do not ship internationally.

Local delivery and nursery pickup

  • At the moment, we do not offer local delivery services.
  • Currently, we do not offer pickup services at the nursery. However, we encourage our customers to contact us for further inquiries before placing the order.

Damaged or lost orders

  • GEA is not responsible for transportation and delivery services provided by third parties. Therefore, it cannot be held liable for direct or indirect damages resulting from the delay or loss of an order caused by actions or omissions of the courier.
  • If your order is damaged, please contact us within 24 hours, specifying the name, order number, providing photos, and explaining the situation. We will resolve the issue together.
  • If you do not receive the order within 3 business days (IT) and within 6 business days (EU) from the receipt of the shipping confirmation email, contact us specifying the name and order number, and we will conduct the necessary checks.
  • It is important to note that if any leaf damage occurs during transport, rest assured that our plants are resilient and will produce new leaves shortly.

Understanding possible delays

Orders may take longer to arrive due to variables beyond our control:

  • courier inconveniences and issues (high order volume, strikes, etc.);
  • natural disasters;
  • GEA team illness and injuries;
  • industry events (fairs and exhibitions).


  • We are committed to ensuring that your plants arrive in optimal condition using sustainable and recyclable packaging.
  • Plants are delivered directly to your home in cardboard packages. Each plant is individually packed with recycled paper to ensure integrity during transport. The adhesive tape is designed to be recyclable along with the cardboard, making our packages ideal for shipping to countries with stricter waste disposal regulations.
  • Despite our efforts for careful packaging, if any leaf damage occurs, do not worry: our plants are resilient and will produce new leaves shortly.

Plant status

  • The plant images on the website are for illustrative purposes only and show how they may develop over time.
  • Within the product sheet of each plant, you will find a section dedicated to 'Information,' where we detail the plant's condition at the time of delivery.
  • We are committed to providing accurate and detailed descriptions for each plant so that you can make informed and secure purchases.

Practical guide after delivery: How to take care of plants

  • After receiving the order, it is essential to pay attention to the plants, which may have experienced transport stress.
  • It is advisable to remove the plants from the packaging as soon as possible and allow them to gradually adapt to the new environment.
  • For the first few days, place them in a slightly shadier area to facilitate a gentle transition.
  • We suggest considering repotting plants in larger containers, increasing by one or two sizes from their current pot.
  • Miniature Pelargonium varieties can be kept in their original 10 cm pot or possibly transferred to a slightly larger 12 cm pot if necessary.
  • Pay particular attention not to damage the root ball and plant them immediately.
