Le sue foglioline emanano un delizioso profumo agrumato con sottili note di limone. Sono lobate e arricciate, di piccole dimensioni, di un verde scuro marginato di crema. I fiori sono rosa perlaceo, grandi, semplici e con macchie viola scuro. Con il suo portamento eretto, nelle composizioni attrae con i suoi fiori dal fascino antico. Attenzione alle innaffiature e bagnare solo a terreno asciutto. Preferire terricci particolarmente drenanti.
