Questa orchidea da giardino si distingue per i suoi fiori pelorici di color fucsia intenso e una fioritura abbondante e singolare. La peloria è una mutazione della morfologia del fiore, in cui i petali assumono la forma e il colore del labello. Le foglie, lunghe e sinuose, di un verde intenso e dalla forma stretta e plicata, completano la bellezza di questa pianta.
