Jasminum nudiflorum , also called St. Joseph's jasmine , is a robust shrub to be used in the ground or in a pot to create small hedges or cascades of greenery that, in mid-winter, open beautiful sunny yellow flowers. Deciduous foliage. The variety 'Mystique' has green leaves edged with silvery white; the flowers are bright yellow, asymmetrical and smaller than the type species, and it blooms from January to April. Compact, it grows more slowly than the green-leaved species.
It tolerates full sun well despite the variegation.
If it reverts to green leaves, promptly remove the affected branch to maintain the characteristics.
