Jasminum officinale Inverleith

Jasminum officinale 'Inverleith' is a highly decorative climbing shrub with dark green leaves that are bronze when young.

Compared to the typical species, the buds are red-purple that open in white in the shape of a star, very fragrant. A very rustic variety, it has abundant flowering in late spring/early summer, unlike Jasminum officinale , which flowers intermittently all summer.

In Italy we do not have to worry about its rusticity, also suitable for full sun.
