Native to southern China, Aspidistra minutiflora 'Spangled Ribbons' is part of the Aspidistra with ribbon-like leaves. About 60 cm long, they are only 2 cm wide and variously dotted with creamy yellow. Over time, it forms a beautiful tuft and is certainly interesting to use in a pot or in the open ground. Resistant up to -5°C, above which it would be better to protect it to avoid the risk of damaging its leaves. The flowers are very small, facing downwards, and appear in summer.
Great scenic impact when planted in nice pots in a shaded corner.
