Crescita strisciante con steli robusti che si ergono sopra al fogliame. Le sue foglie, tipiche del gruppo Zonartic di cui fa parte, sono pentalobate e particolarmente pelose. I grandi fiori doppi, di un delicato color rosa, presentano macchie rosse sui petali superiori, un contrasto visivo di grande impatto.
