Le foglie aromatiche sono palmato-lobate, particolarmente incise e di un verde scuro intenso. Quando vengono stropicciate, emanano un buon odore persistente che ricorda la menta. I fiori semplici di colore rosa, completano l'insieme con la loro grazia e bellezza. Potala almeno un paio di volte l'anno per mantenere una forma più compatta.
