Grow Pelargonium 'Splendide', a beautiful primary hybrid with a trailing growth. It's a must for all pelargonium collectors.
A variety with rich flowering, its blooms are truly spectacular, given by the parent P. tricolor .
Description
Description
Its leaves, about 4 cm long, are an elegant silver-grey colour. The flowers of 'Splendide' have the upper petals of a vibrant red colour, while the three lower petals are pure white, recalling the appearance of its parent, the Pelargonium tricolor. This color combination creates a fascinating and very decorative contrast.
Always let the plant dry between waterings, otherwise there is a risk of root rot.
Cross between P. tricolor And P. ovale ssp. ovale
Year of introduction: 1953, mentioned in '58
Breeder: Astor
