Le foglie sono pinnatifide, color verde glauco, vagamente coperte di tricomi ghiandolari.

I fiori del Pelargonium pulverulentum sono semplici, portrti su lunghi steli di pseudo ombrelle, in numero di 5-10 fiori. Essi sono semplici, piccoli, di color porpora/rosso con un margine giallo zafferano. Pianta a ciclo invernale, con i grandi caldi tende ad andare a riposo.
